Originally, we were going to call this site Figuring it Out. We were in a raw place; Trying to reconcile where we had been in life and where we needed to go, and thinking most of all—what can we do with the little we know now. Our own entirely different paths brought us to the same place and we didn’t want to sit on our hands any longer with the things we had learned. Our journeys had intertwined and we had seen radical things but didn’t know how to transmit the valuable lessons we were in the process of learning about God, heaven, and His Word made tangible. Out of this desire, we would birth this site.
Our goal is to share the journey we’ve been on, and show you glimpses of what we see and grab hold of as we go. We recognized we weren’t exactly beginners any more (which is what caused us to switch from Figuring it Out to Heaven Pressed), but there is still value in watching someone grow and experience with them the early and middle stages of breakthrough.
Heaven Pressed speaks of our process, one that we hope continues every day of our lives as we allow the things of God to shape us every day.
Meet Jules
My only credential is that I love Jesus. My life’s pursuit is to know and be known by God and to share His hope with others. I grew up in the church and walked away for a time. God met me in a dark place before I ever knew I needed Him, or Who He even truly was. I grew up hearing and reading the Bible but not understanding the vast, living treasure within the words. I began a journey of throwing off everything I had ever thought I’d known and seeking the absolute truth. Along the way, I learned God is the best teacher. Wild things began to happen in this pursuit…literal dreams coming true before my eyes, prophetic words given, received, and fulfilled; healing, and provision. A love for others began to develop and is still developing (introvert alert!). But I can’t hold His love and truth in any longer. It must burst forth! See my testimony here.
Meet Stephanie
I’m no theologist. I just love Jesus and am driven by love and compassion for others. My desire is to be a part of expanding the Kingdom of God. I grew up in a southern Baptist church which eventually became fully Charismatic by the time I was 11. I knew Holy Spirit could move in amazing ways because I had seen Him move, heard Him speak. Traumatic experiences, coupled with a spirit of Freemasonry, blinded my eyes and deafened my ears for many years to the true power and authority of the Lord. I fully surrendered and have been walking in a freedom journey, hoping to pass on what I have learned. He has done amazing things and will continue to do amazing things. He has healed, set free, and delivered me and I want others to experience the same. I firmly believe God still speaks to us through dreams, visions, and prophetic words and will continue to do so.
